As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the GIIFT organization's information systems and data assets. Your responsibilities will include implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, monitoring security incidents, and developing strategies to enhance our overall cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in information security, stay current with industry trends, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system configurations and code.
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry best practices.
  • Manage and maintain security tools, such as firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of security controls for new projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7 support of security operations.
  • Provide security awareness training to staff and promote a security-conscious culture.
  • Stay informed about regulatory requirements related to information security and ensure compliance.

Technologies Required:

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience as an Information Security Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and secure coding practices.
  • Hands on understanding of tools like Forcepoint, Sentinel One, CrowdStrike etc
  • Knowledge of Dark Web tools & Threat Intel Analysis
  • Work with External agencies to co-ordinate & execute Security projects
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS).
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS & Azure).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.

Experience (Min ~ Max):

Above 5 -7 Years

Education Required:

UG: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
